My name is Hanna Peterson and I am based in Gothenburg but my roots are in Dalarna. My creation is based on painting, but I also explore design and textile design. Painting is my refuge and I have always loved how I can process feelings, impressions and experiences through painting. That I have a background as a pattern designer and a great interest in materials can sometimes show in the paintings, otherwise I am interested in the meeting between abstract and imaginative, where space is left for the viewer to fill in the motif with their own imagination.

My aim is a combination of simplicity and flow. I am also hoping for my art to be timeless so that it can live through years and years, instead of a temporary trend that will be thrown away next season.
